The luxury beachfront resort will consist of a 106-room Four Seasons hotel and 36 four-, five- and six-bedroom villas on 32 acres along Clearwater Bay. residence pricing ranges from $11.5 to $20 million. The first phase of development will wrap up shortly after you read this and the hotel is slated to open next year. Cinnamon 88 is also planning an even more ambitious Four Seasons property in nearby Grenada. ARTFUL COGNAC
Fashion and design enthusiasts will adore Courvoisier’s limited edition Erté Collection as much as cognac connoisseurs. The collection includes seven different bottles decorated with Erté’s images representing different steps in the cognac-making process (from the vine to the harvest to the distillation to the tasting). The beautiful bottles protect the house’s Grande Champagne blend, which includes cognacs dating back to 1892, the year of Erte’s birth. Only 17 sets from the original release are still available, with just eight full sets making their way to the u.S. market ($10,000 for the set; $1,450 for an individual bottle). OVER-THE-TOP PACKAGE
There are many million-dollar questions, and now Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace finally has an answer. The hotel’s new vacation-for-two program includes seven indulgent, pampered days in its resplendent gold-and-marble Palace Suite, plus carte blanche access to spas, champagne and a personal, chauffeured Maybach. Guests spend their days indulging in tailor-made activities, including golfing and sport-fishing for the boys and daily spa treatments and a design-your-own-fragrance experience at a parfumerie for the girls. And when you get antsy, just hop on a private jet for some day tripping around the region: a jaunt over to Iran to design a Persian carpet with a local expert, a dip in the curative waters of Jordan’s Dead Sea or an afternoon spent deep-sea diving in Bahrain for rare pearls. The cost: a cool $1 million.
